FAQ
What exactly is in a sheet?
Three lists for the previous Monday to Sunday: new major planning applications validated that week (10+ homes, 1,000 sqm+ of floorspace, sites of 1 ha+, or classed as major by the source); applications approved that week for 5 or more homes; and commercial schemes approved that week (offices, industrial and logistics, retail, hotels, data centres and similar). Each row has the council, reference, date, number of homes, applicant and agent company where published, a description, the site address and links back to the council record.
What format do I get?
A CSV with every row and full links, plus a one-page PDF summary, delivered every Monday once subscriptions open.
Which areas are covered?
London (all 33 planning authorities, via the GLA's Planning London Datahub), the South East and Greater Manchester (via UK PlanIt, which compiles council planning registers). National covers every region we publish. We will add regions as demand comes in.
Do you include people's names?
No. We publish company names only. Personal names, phone numbers and email addresses are removed. If an applicant isn't clearly a company, that field is left blank.
How complete is it?
London comes from a GLA dataset fed by every borough. For the South East and Greater Manchester we rely on the councils UK PlanIt can read, so treat those counts as a minimum. Councils sometimes publish decisions late, so occasionally a scheme will appear a week later than its decision date.
Who is it for?
Brokers, developers, land agents, architects, contractors and suppliers who want a weekly list of sites that have just been approved or submitted, with the companies involved.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from the Stripe billing portal. The one-off sheet is a single payment for the most recent week.
Is this advice?
No. It is information compiled from public planning registers. Always check the council register before acting on anything.
